The 5 Pointz name hails back to one of my childhood landmarks that I’d see every day riding the 7 train.  5 Pointz was a rad mural space occupying what many consider to be the epicenter of the graffiti scene in NY (and globally even with many international artists contributing to the bulding!).  This confluence and synergy of the 5 boroughs, and of the layers upon layers of tags and art, felt like a great thing to pay tribute to with our debuting blend that aims to riff on this synergy.

5 Pointz Blend is sets out to be a balanced and dynamic blend showcasing the cup attributes we love about specialty coffee.  This coffee is roasted for those who are looking for something ever so slightly more developed than many of our single origin offerings.  Still in the ‘lighter’ range, but focusing on a juicy body and some light caramelization that lends itself to a super balanced cup that can be enjoyed black or with your choice of milk.

Currently comprised of Ethiopia Layo Taraga and Colombia Gaitania:  In the cup, we’re getting a ton peach cobbler vibes that are paired with juicy citrus and milk chocolate notes in the aftertaste of this bangin’ blend.  Great for espresso, great for filter.  Go get it.
